Electrical Qualifying Supervisor
Salary: from £40,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
Location: Poole, Office Based (remote work will be considered after successfully passing probation)Hours: Monday to Friday – 8am – 5pm

Position Summary
Reed Recruitment are seeking an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to support the growth of our client's department working alongside their Electrical Contracts Manager. You will be responsible in supporting the delivery of electrical contracts to local authorities and housing associations.
Key Responsibilities
- Auditing of electrical certification: as a Qualifying Supervisor you will be responsible for signing off certificates that our engineers produce.
- ICT Use & Data Management: Use ICT systems effectively to receive and update job information in real-time, ensuring accurate records.
- Training & Development: Assist in ongoing training, mentoring, and skill-sharing to propel personal growth and team knowledge.
- Compliance and Record Keeping: Keeping all records up to date to ensure we maintain high standards across all contracts, aligned with BS7671 and other relevant legislation.
- Site Audits: Supporting the Electrical Contracts Manager in ensuring site is maintained to the highest standards and providing on the spot, advice, support and guidance.

Eligibility
- Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Background Check: Satisfactory Basic DBS check.
- Highly motivated
- Work well within a team and equally on their own initiative
- Communication levels are to a high standard both written and verbal
- Confident in approach
Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent plus AM2
- City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition IEE Regulations) or equivalent
- 2391/2392 - Testing & Inspection certification or equivalent
Desirable
- Familiarity with data protection principles.
- Social housing or property maintenance experience.
Experience and Skills
Essential
- Time-served electrical apprenticeship or extensive experience in electrical trade.
- Experience with electrical testing, installation and fault finding.
- Strong health and safety awareness and full driving license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take lead and ownership of specific tasks delegated by the Electrical Contracts Manager.
