Responsibilities:

As a PCB Assembly Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling a wide range of standard parts, semi-products, and/or components, with a focus on electronic assemblies.
  • Performing revolving operations for electronic parts or components on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Organising your own hand stock and monitoring parts availability, selecting and using components appropriately according to production plans.
  • Utilising specific equipment and specialised tools to maintain functionality.
  • Conducting quality control checks and solving routine manufacturing problems.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Previous experience competently modifying complex PCBs.
  • Ability to wire and assemble complex PCB assemblies, operate spray varnish equipment, and solder components.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Ability to operate Optical Inspection Equipment (AOI).
  • Awareness of Lean & 5s principles and methodology.

Technologies:

  • Knowledge of electronic components and their functions.
