Responsibilities:
As a PCB Assembly Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assembling a wide range of standard parts, semi-products, and/or components, with a focus on electronic assemblies.
- Performing revolving operations for electronic parts or components on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Organising your own hand stock and monitoring parts availability, selecting and using components appropriately according to production plans.
- Utilising specific equipment and specialised tools to maintain functionality.
- Conducting quality control checks and solving routine manufacturing problems.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- Previous experience competently modifying complex PCBs.
- Ability to wire and assemble complex PCB assemblies, operate spray varnish equipment, and solder components.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Ability to operate Optical Inspection Equipment (AOI).
- Awareness of Lean & 5s principles and methodology.
Technologies:
- Knowledge of electronic components and their functions.
