Assistant Production Coordinator, Poole, £25,000


Purpose


As a Assistant Production Coordinator, you will work alongside the Production Coordinator. Your duties involve coordinating production activities, managing material flow to the factory and subcontractors, expediting production processes, overseeing the time and attendance system, and recording material cast numbers to maintain traceability.

Responsibilities


Your responsibilities as a Assistant Production Coordinator will be:
• Assisting the Production Coordinator with scheduling and coordinating production activities.
• Attending daily production meetings, update the planning board, and reporting on responsibilities.
• Managing generating material checklists, dispatch notes, and booking materials.
• Extracting and manipulating data in Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Overseeing time and attendance tracking, ensuring accuracy for payroll purposes.
• Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers to coordinate materials, deliveries, and updates.
• Preparing and distributing production packs, drawings, and other necessary documentation.
• Monitoring and ordering materials.
• Supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance, including H&S check sheets and NCRs.


Background


The successful Assistant Production Coordinator will have:
• Being computer literate including MS Office
• Experience inputting and extracting data from systems
• Previous office administration experience
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to work to given deadlines
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
