Holt Engineering have a very exciting trainee opportunity for someone looking to become a fully skilled Production Technician.

This role will be working alongside an organised production team to ensure testing and build targets are met, this role involves machine testing, building sub-assemblies, finished products and any other tasks as and when needed.

The starting Salary is Circa 26,000 DOE with the opportunity to increase up to 30,000 within the firstyear, the role is based in Poole working a day shift with an early finish on Fridays

Duties of the successful Trainee Production Technician
  • Working on the testing and product/sub-assemblybuild and completing daily assignments to meet the production schedule
  • Maintaining the high standards of quality, regulatory and ISO requirements
  • Working on a range of electro-mechanical sub assembliesand full product builds
Requirements to be considered for the Trainee Production Technician
  • Previous experienceof assembling electrical or mechanical goods is essential.
  • Ability to assemble electrical or mechanical goods followingtechnical drawings.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and take on other activities in the factory
  • Quality focused individual with good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight delivery schedules
  • Experience within an engineering/ manufacturing environment
  • A valid forklift would be advantageous but not essential
