Our client is proud of the outstanding service they provide to their customers and due to phenomenal success, they are looking for a talented and driven Finance Team Lead to guide the business through the finance department into its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
  • Oversee general financial management tasks and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, process income, receipts, and payments using Sage 50.
  • Conduct account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare salaries and pension contributions using Sage Payroll.
  • Complete and submit VAT returns in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement processes related to P&L, budgets, forecasting, and cost accounting.
  • Assist in executing the company’s strategic financial objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Sage 50 and Sage Payroll (essential).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables (desirable).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive to improve and streamline financial processes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role.
