Key Responsibilities:
- Manage both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
- Oversee general financial management tasks and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records, process income, receipts, and payments using Sage 50.
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare salaries and pension contributions using Sage Payroll.
- Complete and submit VAT returns in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement processes related to P&L, budgets, forecasting, and cost accounting.
- Assist in executing the company’s strategic financial objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Sage 50 and Sage Payroll (essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables (desirable).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- A proactive mindset with a drive to improve and streamline financial processes.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role.
