About the Role:
As a SEND Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN.
- Provide individualised support and guidance to autistic students, promoting their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up to date
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education
- Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting
- Strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education
