About the job:

Are you ready to dive into a role that values precision and creativity? As a Trainee Window Surveyor, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to learn the ropes of surveying bespoke windows and doors. This role offers a unique blend of on-the-job training and personal development. As you succeed you will progress to becoming a full surveyor; one of the most responsible and rewarding roles at Norrsken.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced surveyors with on-site measurements and assessments
  • Learn to interpret architectural details and building regulations
  • Communicate effectively with customers, site managers, and architects
  • Ensure every detail is accurate and meets our high standards
  • Progress towards independent surveying responsibilities


About you:

Are you good with detail? Here's a flavour. There are architectural details, building regulations, hidden stuff, bits that are difficult to work out, manufacturing constraints, paint finishes, handles, and “make sizes”, and that's just the tip of this particular detail iceberg.

Whether you're a new graduate, a school leaver, or considering a career change, if you bring the right attitude, we want to hear from you.

You'll be great if you:

  • Are numerate with an understanding of basic geometry
  • Can visualise details in 3D
  • Have a reasonable head for heights
