About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity and fostering a positive learning environment. Embrace the versatility of being a Supply Teacher and contribute to the educational journey of young minds Poole. This role will involve teaching a variety of classes across different year groups, with a strong focus on Functional Skills Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to mixed-age groups, ensuring all students make progress.
• Plan and teach Functional Skills Maths to students who need support in this area.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and promote a focus on learning.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure students’ academic and personal development.
• Provide feedback to students on their work and progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching Functional Skills Maths preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to teach across a variety of subjects and year groups.
• A flexible, proactive approach to teaching and supporting students.
• Excellent communication skills.
