HR Officer required in education sector, based in Poole, working with the central HR team covering Employee relations cases along with absence and sickness. This role is a temporary position until February with a possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Employee Relations (ER) cases with professionalism and empathy.
  • Oversee absence and sickness records, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff on HR-related issues.
  • Collaborate with various departments to foster a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR, particularly in handling ER cases and managing absence and sickness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent is desirable.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and 8.30am - 4pm on Friday.
