We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the team of a leading Poole based organisation. This is a newly created role and therefore an opportunity for a Data Analyst to really add value, and make the role your own.  The key focus for the Data Analyst will be to collect and interpret data, and enhance reporting functions in order to improve efficiencies across the organisation.  We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the team of a leading Poole based organisation.  Data Analyst key responsibilities:• As the data expert, you will be required to gather and interpret large sets of data in order to provide actionable insights, identify areas for improvement and enhance reporting across all operating areas of the business• Produce management information (MI) in order to provide actionable insight, enabling stakeholders to drive strategic and operational decisions• Design, create and maintain bespoke and ad-hoc reports in line with operational requirements. • Using a creative approach to data analysis, you will need to be able to flex your presentation style based on the audience and specific requirement thereof.  Using appropriate mix of narrative, numerical and visual representation and analysis, in order to best communicate your findings and recommendations.• Gather, analyse and adapt data into presentable formats, in order to present and discuss with relevant stakeholders or the intended audience.• Develop modelling tools and reports to support forecasting, planning and strategic decision-making.• Identify trends, patterns and anomalies in data, providing recommendations to enhance performance.• Identify service improvement and / or cost saving opportunities with a focus on efficiency and customer excellence.• Ensure data integrity, working with teams to improve reporting accuracy and compliance.• Support and develop process improvements and continuous improvement methodology across the team.Key skills / experience required for this Data Analyst position:• Proven experience in data analysis, with strong data manipulation, statistical analysis and related working methods• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data visualisation tools (QlikView, Power BI, or similar).• Experience with a variety of database applications (MySQL, SQL) and CRM / ERP systems.  • Confidence to translate complex data into actionable insights, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.For more information about this position, and to learn more about the additional benefits on offer, please get in touch with Joy Bruce at Collaborate Recruitment.
