Job Overview

This is a supporting role working within the brand Supply team, you will assist the team in daily tasks to ensure all admin and stock ordering processes are maintained.

The successful candidate will have good skills in Excel and be used to working with stock using spreadsheets such as Pivot Tables and Vlookups.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with the team to plan and schedule product availability, optimising stock holding and working with Far East suppliers / UK customers to maintain the business's KPI targets.
  • Using Slim4 inventory and forecasting management tools / Business Central / Web portals and Excel, you will help support the team in forecasting order requirements to the supplier base.
  • Placing the order requirements to the supplier base.
  • Monitoring supplier orderbooks to ensure orders meet OTIF.
  • Communicating with our Far East office to help expedite & defer orders.
  • Help the team plan for new range changes and exit, seasonal stock inputs and monitoring resolution of any customer service issues.
  • Liaise effectively with all appropriate departments to ensure our customers’ requirements are known and met.
  • Provide efficient and friendly service to our customers.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by the Supply team.

Experience required

  • Good IT skills necessary in MS Excel / Outlook.
  • Some Supply Chain experience within retail environment advantage but not essential as training will be given.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and have the ability to keep tight deadlines.
  • Must be a positive team player but also have the ability to work autonomously.
