The primary focus of this role is to assist the Transport Manager in delivering optimum fleet efficiency, by managing day to day driver, vehicle and trailer issues as well as scheduling and organisingfleet maintenance.
Essentials to be considered for this LogisticsSupervisor position:
- Proven experience within Logistics and supervising logistics teams.
- Confident liaisingwith customers across all levels.
- Able to identify issues and implement solutions.
- Level 3 National (or International) Transport Managers Certificate of Professional Competence
- Class 1 Driving Licence
- Full clean Driving Licence
- CPC Licence
- Deal with any issues that arise effecting fleet or drivers
- Organise and schedule fleet service vehicles and trailers, repairs, MOT
- Support and develop internal and external procedures
- Ensure you are always aware and on top of existing, proposed, and forthcoming changes to legislation and best practice
- Assist across the department as and when needed
- Moving vehicles within the yard as and when needed.
