Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week - day shift

Our award winning manufacturing client are looking for a Manufacturing NPD Engineer to join their team in Poole. This is a excellent opportunity to work with a global company who are introducing and improving their products.

What will the Manufacturing NPD Engineer be doing?
- Overseeing design to production process using Six Sigma or Lean methodology
- Overseeing improvements to existing and new products
- Scheduling PPM maintenance
- Basic troubleshooting of crimping, cutting, stripping and hand tool machinery
- Participate in cost reduction exercises
- Analyse and plan workflows, space requirements and equipment placement to maximise efficiency
What we are looking for in the Manufacturing NPD Engineer?
- Strong mechanical assembly experience
- Knowledge of Electrical wiring and cable assembly
- HNC/Degree in Mechanical engineering desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role
- 2D/3D Solidworks or Inventor experience is desired
- Working knowledge of Lean of Six Sigma is desired
