As the Operations Manager, you will take a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence across logistics, materials, quality, supply chain, planning, and manufacturing. Your leadership will be key in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with all departments and lead the coordination of refurbishment projects, while driving efficiency, quality, and growth throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage fleet operations and oversee refurbishment projects from inception to completion
  • Lead and optimise manufacturing operations in line with global quality standards
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Champion lean manufacturing initiatives to boost operational efficiency
  • Address and resolve inventory and delivery challenges with effective solutions
  • Seamlessly integrate new product developments into the production process
  • Ensure production meets customer demands, quality standards, and cost targets
  • Lead recruitment, training, and development efforts to maintain high-performing teams
  • Collaborate with the sales team for accurate demand forecasting
  • Work with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic goals

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in operational management, ideally within manufacturing or construction/refurbishment industries
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a track record of managing teams effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of inspiring and motivating others
  • Highly organised and goal-driven, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative and resilient, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in IT systems, including Outlook and Excel (SAP B1 knowledge is a plus)
