A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Email Marketing Specialist to join a fast-paced digital marketing agency. The agency specializes in paid advertising, performance creatives, and email marketing, working with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from startups to large national brands. This role is integral in developing and executing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions. The ideal candidate must have experience in email marketing, particularly in the D2C sector, and possess strong strategic and analytical skills.

Role:

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns that achieve client objectives. This includes managing the entire email process, from strategy and design briefing to performance analysis and reporting. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure all campaigns meet key metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

  • Campaign execution: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, from strategy to scheduling.
  • Email copywriting: Write persuasive and engaging email copy tailored to the target audience.
  • Data-driven optimization: Use data from platforms such as Klaviyo, Shopify, and Google Analytics to track performance and make informed decisions.
  • A/B testing: Conduct tests on email elements to optimize performance.
  • Client relationship management: Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their goals and delivering exceptional service.
  • Creative strategy development: Design automated flows, re-engagement campaigns, and lifecycle email series to enhance customer retention.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must be a highly skilled individual with several years of experience in email marketing, particularly in the e-commerce or D2C industry. We are looking for someone who can take initiative, work independently, and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

  • Several years of experience in email marketing, managing large email lists.
  • Proficiency in email platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Omnisend.
  • Experience working in an advertising agency, startup, or service-based business.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle, acquisition, retention, and re-engagement strategies.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical with a keen eye for campaign performance.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to write compelling email copy.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
