JOB SUMMARY:

My client has a direct to market ecommerce website, they also have numerous trade counter branches throughout the UK.

They are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join their dynamic marketing team.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall marketing efforts of the company and brands. You'll need to be a proactive individual who is passionate about marketing and eager to learn and grow their skills in a fast-paced environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for a marketing graduate, or as a step up for someone with 1yrs experience in marketing who is looking to expand their skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To manage digital campaigns through briefing to approval: including proof reading, testing and gaining relevant approvals, requiring excellent attention to detail.
  • Day to day management of website assets - homepage, banners, product uploads.
  • To contribute ideas and copy for customer communications and promotional product material - adjusting tone and content appropriate to various channels.
  • Execution of digital campaigns, including weekly email newsletters and sales offers.
  • Organic social media management, helping accounts grow by creating engaging content and responding to messages and other interactions in appropriate tone
  • To support the team in the creation of printed collateral for branches including posters, banners and signage working with existing suppliers.
  • To liaise with Branch Managers who require marketing information from other internal departments and co-ordinate timely responses.
  • Finding and building relationships with key suppliers of uniform, print and merchandise.
  • Close liaison with the internal brand teams, Graphic Design, Product Sourcing, and Product teams to enable effective planning of launch campaigns.
  • To create ad hoc and seasonal point of sale materials for branches as briefed by head office or branch managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take on new challenges and learn from experienced professionals.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
