Position Overview: We are searching for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to support our client's growing engineering team. This individual will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems and components from the concept stage through to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate technical drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing specifications.
- Work collaboratively with electrical engineers, manufacturing teams, and project managers.
- Assist in testing prototypes and analyse stress, thermal, and tolerance
- Implement design improvements based on feedback, test outcomes, and changing project requirements.
- Participate in design discussions and contribute to project timelines and planning.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Skilled in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or AutoCAD,).
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and production methods.
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies is a bonus.
