Senior Compliance Engineer, Poole, £75,000
As the Senior Compliance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all products meet global safety and regulatory standards. You’ll lead compliance processes, keep up to date with the latest regulations, and work closely with design, development, and production teams to ensure all products are tested, certified, and fully compliant.

As the Senior Compliance Engineer, you will:
• Lead and manage the Compliance and Test Team.
• Keep up to date with the latest international compliance regulations.
• Maintain and update product approvals and certifications.
• Oversee external compliance testing (IEC 61010, EMC, IP, etc.).
• Ensure compliance throughout design, prototype, and production phases.
• Be the point of contact for external inspections, enacting corrective actions where necessary.
• Conduct internal audits of compliance documents, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure all technical manuals and documentation align with relevant standards.
The successful candidate will:
• Have a strong understanding of CE approval processes, especially for electrical machines.
• Have experience working with external testing agencies (Eurofins, VDE, MET, UL, etc.).
• Be familiar with IEC standards, particularly electrical safety regulations.
• Be confident reading schematic diagrams and understanding electronic components.
• Have strong professional documentation and report-writing skills.
• Be proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
Desirable skills include:
• Experience with PAT and Flash (Hi-pot) testing.
• Hands-on experience designing and constructing electrical machines.
• Familiarity with RoHS, REACH, TSCA, and other regulatory standards.
• A formal qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
