Job description

Our client a friendly and established Nursery setting in the Poole area are currently seeking a Deputy Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, as well as strong leadership skills. The nursery is part of a larger group which has 5 other settings in the local area so there is opportunity for career growth and development. The company also offers fantastic staff benefits and incentives.

Your role:- Assist the Nursery Manager with the daily operations and management of the nursery.- Supervise staff and ensure adherence to nursery policies and procedures.- Communicate effectively with the children, parents and staff.- Oversee the delivery of high-quality childcare and educational programmes.- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and budgeting.

Qualifications:- Early Years qualification - minimum Level 3.- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
