Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator

Salary: Up to £18 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team in Poole. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating metal components and a strong understanding of sheet metal processes. You will work with various materials and machinery to produce precise metal parts and assemblies that meet stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Operate and maintain sheet metal fabrication equipment, including CNC machines, lasers, and brakes.
- Cut, bend, and shape metal sheets according to specifications.
- Perform welding and assembly tasks as required.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and defects.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiencies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator or similar role.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools.
- Experience with welding (MIG/TIG) and finishing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in metal fabrication or engineering are a plus.
