Duties-

  1. Make appointments and arrange meetings as directed. Including scheduling meetings/reviews with students/parents/other staff/professionals at regular times throughout the year.
  1. Produce, collate and distribute reports, letters and other documents.

  1. To support the administrative work in the consultations/admissions process.
  1. Responsible for keeping information in order for auditing purposes in line with the college, Ofsted and CQC requirements
  1. Meet, greet and direct visitors
  1. Operate college diary and inform staff of visitors and guests.
  1. To be responsible for and able to evidence own personal development by undertaking relevant training, attending meetings, conferences and events ensuring that you are updated in all matters relevant to the role within your Personal Development Plan agreed with your manager.

Additional duties

  1. Manage the administration of the online Management Information Systems (MIS), in conjunction with the respective MIS leads
  1. Maintain both electronic and paper-based files, spread sheets and databases.
  1. To use a range of information systems to process and update data and provide management information to the Leadership team and other stakeholders.
  1. To assist with administration of the SCR (Single Central Record) and ensure that information is up to date from staff’s HR files
  1. To assist with checking that ILR (Individualised Learner Record) information is in place ready for submission. Responding to verbal and written enquiries from external parties, parents/carers and internal staff as appropriate.

Skills and Education-

Maths and English Level 2 +

Highly proficient with MS office applications, including Excel

Safeguarding knowledge

Proven admin experience in a similar role working in a busy environment, , ideally within the education sector, care sector, hospital or a GP surgery.
