Your new organisation is dynamic, welcoming and inclusive, based in Poole. They are looking for a permanent, part-time purchase ledger to join their vibrant team where you will contribute to their success of delivering exceptional experiences to customers and artists.
Your new role
This is a part-time, 20 hours per week purchase ledger role and with duties including but not limited to:

  • All aspects of the purchase ledger
  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with various departments, providing support with queries and authorisation of invoices for payment.
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Support with months-end closing activities
  • Assistance to other finance roles across the organisation when required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar transactional support role working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Strong IT skills and experience of utilising accounting software, including Sage, Quickbooks and Xero
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage duties adhering to the complexity of the organisation with various departments, venues, and profit centres.
  • Team player and the flexibility to be involved and support the wider finance team when required.
