My Poole based design and wholesale client has a newly created opportunity for a Graduate Compliance Co-ordinator to join their product compliance team.

This role will be supporting the Assistant Compliance Manager in bringing compliant products to market by co-ordinating testing and working proactively to fulfil various customer requirements. Gathering and analysing data and maintaining files or portals to ensure best practice, compliance and risk mitigation is achieved.

Objectives:

  • Proactively contribute to the objective of ensuring all products are compliant to relevant UK, EU or other applicable market legislation as well as meeting customer specifications.
  • To communicate effectively between the various stakeholders involved in the testing process to ensure a timely resolution to projects.
  • To gather, analyse and manage data streams internally and externally within the compliance function
  • To provide administrative support to contribute to overall business compliance and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with co-ordinating product testing to ensure all safety, legislation and cost objectives are met within agreed timeframes.
  • Update and maintain technical information on internal databases
  • Support with achieving company obligations to all relevant product and environmental legislation.
  • Co-ordinate, manage and analyse relevant compliance data. Presenting information and completing portal submissions internally and externally
  • Support the compliance team as required across any other tasks or activities requested by customers, or which are necessary to ensure business compliance.
  • Contribute to effective working practices by ensuring all administrative tasks are completed timely and accurately and to a good standard.

Experience Required

  • An interest in electrical or mechanical products is desired but not essential
  • Confidence in communicating with external customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-changing compliance landscape.
