Gantry Crane Operative, Poole, £13.80
Purpose
As a Gantry Crane Operative, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials on-site and ensuring the smooth movement of materials around the yard. This is a hands-on role, where you'll be working with a range of plant machinery and supporting the team in various operations across the site.

As a Gantry Crane Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Operating plant ,machinery where necessary, including, shot blaster,
- Operating the shot blaster when required during high workload periods
- Use of a Gantry Crane, Side loader, and Forklift
- Driving the pickup truck for collection and deliveries as directed
- Assisting in the fitting shop with sorting fittings
- Supporting general labouring duties around the site as required
As a Gantry Crane Operative, you will have:
- Ideally have experience operating plant machinery (e.g., Gantry Crane, Forklift, Side Loader) in a similar environment (although transferable skills will be considered)
- Experience working with heavy loads
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to safety
