Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a great global manufacturing company based in Poole, Dorset and are looking for a Woodshop Operative to be part of their UK production team.

What's involved?
- Being a member of the UK Production Team, helping to deliver quality product within target.
- Filling, sanding, and routing sheet materials.
- Carry out tasks including filling, sanding, and wood preparation to production schedule, offer ideas to improve performance and throughput.
- Mechanically minded, experience with woodworking or similar preparation of wood products.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Operate within a framework of procedures and specific targets in pursuit of overall department goals and objectives as defined by the Operations Manager
- Work in a flexible and cooperative manner across all functions, always recognising that you represent the Company when on premises.
- Work with minimum supervision and have a positive and proactive can-do attitude.
- Maintaining a keen eye for detail and a high level of quality and working practices, adhering to applicable company procedures in particular Health & Safety.
