Job Title: Commercial Project Manager
Location: Poole
Salary: £45-50k
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Project Manager to join a leading company in the Defence sector. You will play a key role in managing contracts, delivering projects to specifications, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Development and Bids team in the planning phases of new opportunities.
- Create work breakdown structures, project plans, and risk management strategies.
- Manage new and existing contracts, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget, and contractual obligations.
- Deliver payment milestones within specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, and risk.
- Conduct regular contract reviews and provide detailed progress reports.
- Develop standardised documentation and reporting templates for use across projects and contracts.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- 2+ years experience in Project Management within a technical sector.
- A Project Management qualification (Prince2, APM, etc.).
- A degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Experience in the Defence industry delivering technical solutions.
- Lean Six Sigma yellow or green belt (highly desirable).
- Engineering experience in civil or military aviation is a plus.
