Bennett and Game are proud to represent a leading Architectural Glazing Specialist seeking a Buyer to join their expanding team that has been operating for over 15 years, based from their Poole office. The Buyer will provide administrative support for the purchasing department in negotiating with suppliers and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Buyer Job Overview
  • Providing administrative support to the purchasing department and assist with daily tasks
  • Liaising with suppliers to negotiate prices, place orders, and set delivery schedules
  • Tracking orders from initiation through warehouse delivery
  • Working with inventory teams to ensure accurate deliveries and report discrepancies
  • Maintaining computerised stock records and logged all movements
  • Verify supplier invoices against delivery notes and processed for payment
  • Research new markets, products, and manufacturing processes
Buyer Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a purchasing administration or buying position within the manufacturing or glazing / construction sectors
  • Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once and to work well under pressure
  • Commercial awareness and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • A background in manufacturing & project coordination is preferred.
