JOB - Quality Manager
LOCATION - Dorset
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £55,000-£60,000per annum

My client are specialists in the design and manufacture a range of products using a range of different processes to a variety of industries in the Dorset area. The successful candidate will have great knowledge of the ISO9001 standard and be experienced with developing and maintain the Quality Management system.

The Quality Manger will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Extensive experience in Quality Assurance
  • Engineering background - preferably HNC qualified or equivalent work-based experience
  • Strategic and methodical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of ISO9001 standard
  • Ensuring compliance to quality standards and procedures
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment or Six sigma
  • Good problem-solving skills with use of RCA tools
  • Innovative, creative and good leadership qualities

The Quality Manger role will involve:

  • Developing and managing the QMS in relation to ISO9001
  • Leading Continuous Improvement
  • Training and mentoring staff within the quality department
  • Streamlining quality process and procedures
  • Liaising with a variety of departments and external stakeholders
  • Attending staff meetings
  • Ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures
  • Conducting internal audits
