Hours: Mon-Fri0800am-1700pm
Salary:£28-£32K DOE

Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-established family run business and who are now looking for an additional member of staff to join their hardworking team of 6 at the office based in Poole, Dorset.
The successful Logistics coordinator will need to have some knowledge of the logistics sector having worked in a warehouse or distribution environment previously. The successful candidate must be someone who has great attention to detail, computer literate and have excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for the internal account support, liaising with your colleagues at the warehouse as well as the end customers. Knowledge of vehicle sizes is an advantage as you will be booking 3PL and arranging the paperwork to reflect this shipment.

Job duties for the Logistics Coordinator are: -
- Being the frontline customer support
- Managing and responding to delivery issues / queries
- Liaising with the warehouse team frequently (including regular online Team Meetings)
- Booking 3PL and working with the warehouse to get an understanding of the shipment sizes to plan transportation accordingly
- Preparing paperwork including exports
- Customer order management - have an understanding on how orders are coming into the business and the way these are processed to ensure orders are not missed and managed correctly
- Tracking shipments
- Ensuring systems are accurate and up to date.
