Overview: This is a role that is supporting the R&D team, working with product development and product testing and would be suited to a recent graduate.

Client: A leading manufacturer and supplier of bespoke advanced materials.

Successful candidates will beresponsible for the mechanical and analytical test laboratory. You will the support the R&D function in the development of new products. This is to include developing a required product specification that is either based on a customer requirement or specification or if pure R&D, working closely with the R&D chemist.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level with and interest in manufacturing engineering.
  • Practical and hands-on experience, in a lab and production environment is advantageous
  • The ideal candidate must be proficient with excel, word and powerpoint, and be able to produce data packages that are clear and presentable.
  • Applicants must be able to follow instruction, with excellent communication skills and be responsible with health and safety.
