Account Executive, Poole, £32,000 plus bonus – 12-month FTC

Rubicon’s well-established and reputableclient operates internationally across a variety of business sectors. They are a distributor for engineering components designed, manufactured and supplied by premium global brands. During their 35 years,the company has also provided Access Control Solutions providing peace of mind to millions through the design, production and introduction of a wide range of security related products.Â
As an Account Executive, you’ll enjoy 28 days of holiday, plus Bank Holidays, and a Christmas shutdown, giving you time to unwind and recharge. To help you maintain a healthy work-life balance, you’ll also finish your workday early with a 2pm close every Friday. For the right candidate, this 12-month contract could lead to a permanent position.
As an Account Executive you will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers, generating new business through warm and cold leads.
- Work with the Internal Sales Manager, Head of Sales, and Marketing team to convert enquiries into sales and provide market insights.
- Process quotations, liaise with suppliers on pricing and availability, and gather data for analysis.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to maximise opportunities, reviving dormant accounts and driving new sales.
- Support sales initiatives and ensure the smooth execution of processes across accounts.
As an Account Executive you will have:
- Experience in customer-facing role with a proven track record in account management and business development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain confident under pressure.
- A “can-do” attitude and proactive mindset.
