A new role of Finance Assistant is being recruited by our client, a successful and established manufacturing company based in the Poole area. Reporting to a Group Management Accountant you will have responsibility for:

  • Working with numerous customer website portals you would have accounts receivable responsibilities: cash posting, allocating payment receipts, processing payment deductions, raising credits and identifying aged transactions for investigation.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of the website portals against company system
  • Cashbook: cash posting and bank reconciliations
  • Provide assistance on accounts receivables and payables for other group companies
  • Assisting with month end transactional duties

You will need to have previous accounts receivable or payables experience and be comfortable handling a large amount of data; experience of customer website portals/marketplaces would be a distinct advantage. You will also need to be a team player, have strong attention to detail and happy to assume responsibility. Knowledge of Excel and good data entry skills are also needed. Please note this role is all office based. Benefits
