A new role of Finance Assistant is being recruited by our client, a successful and established manufacturing company based in the Poole area. Reporting to a Group Management Accountant you will have responsibility for:
- Working with numerous customer website portals you would have accounts receivable responsibilities: cash posting, allocating payment receipts, processing payment deductions, raising credits and identifying aged transactions for investigation.
- Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of the website portals against company system
- Cashbook: cash posting and bank reconciliations
- Provide assistance on accounts receivables and payables for other group companies
- Assisting with month end transactional duties
You will need to have previous accounts receivable or payables experience and be comfortable handling a large amount of data; experience of customer website portals/marketplaces would be a distinct advantage. You will also need to be a team player, have strong attention to detail and happy to assume responsibility. Knowledge of Excel and good data entry skills are also needed.
