As a Woodshop Operative, you will be:
- Operating woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, sanders, and drills to cut, shape, and finish wood components used in the construction of cabinets.
- Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to keep the workshop running smoothly.
- Inspecting the finished products for defects and ensuring they meet the client’s high standards for aesthetics and performance
- Assembling wooden components to form enclosures.
What you will need to work as a Woodshop Operative:
- Practical experience in woodworking, including the use of tools such as table saws, drills, sanders and nail guns.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to accurately construct cabinets.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining woodworking machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
