About the Role:

As an Autism Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalised care and support to students with autism. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the well-being and holistic development of those on educational health care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement personalised care plans, following lesson plans set by the teacher to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including class teacher and staffs, to ensure holistic support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of students' progress and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Autism Support Worker in school or similar role is preferred.
  • Understanding of autism spectrum conditions and evidence-based support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students with autism.
