Software Engineer

We are recruiting for a Software Engineer in a large, well-respected organisation on a fixed term basis for 2 years. You will support the Data and Integration Lead, alongside the Data team, on developing and maintaining solutions. The Role

As the Software Engineer, you will be collaborating with the data team to develop and optimise message queues as well as designing and implementing messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus.As part of the Mainstay programme, you will also providing technical support and guidance to other team members on best practices for a SOA approach.Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with other data engineers and developers, architects, and wider stakeholders to integrate messaging solutions into data pipelines, supporting the organisations mission statement ensuring seamless data flow and integration between systems and products.What the company look for

• Experience with messaging solutions
• Azure, NOT AWS
• If they have Azure Service Bus then bonus
• Programming languages C# and .Net
• API development
• Design, develop, and maintain SOA solutions to support reliable and scalable information exchange between systems.
• Implement robust messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain documentation for solutions, including design specifications, configuration settings, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on best practices for a SOA approach.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide training and support to data users on messaging best practices and tools.
