About the Role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of needs, including Autism.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed to ensure all students are making progress towards their goals.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience working with students with SEN preferred.
- Knowledge of a range of Special Educational Needs like Autism, and experience implementing strategies to support these needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude towards working with students with diverse needs.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
