The successful candidate will have an analytical mind and will be good with data, numbers and spreadsheets, if you’ve had some experience within supply chain or inventory that would be useful.

This is a supporting role working within the Supply Chain Team, you will assist the Inventory Analysts & Supply Chain team in daily tasks to ensure all inventory and retail stock analysis processes are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Inventory / Supply Chain analyst to plan and schedule product availability and optimising stock holding, working with suppliers and UK customers to maintain the business's KPI targets.
  • Using Slim4 inventory and forecasting management tools / Web portals and Excel you will help support the Supply Chain Analyst in forecasting order requirements to the supplier base. (Training will be provided on the systems)
  • Placing the order requirements to the supplier base.
  • Monitoring supplier orderbooks to ensure orders meet OTIF.
  • Communicating with our Far East office to help expedite & defer orders.
  • Help the Supply Chain Analyst plan for new product changes and exit, seasonal stock inputs and monitoring resolution of any customer service issues.
  • Liaise effectively with All appropriate departments to ensure our customers’ requirements are known and met.
  • Provide efficient and friendly service to our customers at all times.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by the Supply team.

Experience required

  • Good IT skills necessary in MS Excel / Outlook.
  • Some Supply Chain / Data Analyst experience within a retail environment advantage but is not essential as training will be given.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and have the ability to keep to tight deadlines.
  • Must be a positive team player but also have the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good administration skills

Working hours are 8am to 5pm Mon to Thurs, and 8am to 4pm on Friday.

They start at 8am as this works in terms of contact with their manufacturers in the Far East.
