Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for the food industry? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading food production company in Poole! As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our production lines, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high standards of equipment performance.

What you will do:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all production machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation faults.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to extend the life of machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ideally, you'll have relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) or similar.
