Your Company:An automotive business is seeking a Senior Mechanic/Vehicle Service Technician to join the business in the Poole area. This is a family business, with a decade of history providing services within the automotive sector, specifically in motorsports. This presents an opportunity for a professional to not only become part of a growing business, but to also gain exposure and experience partaking in motorsport related projects.Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conducting vehicle servicing and repair work
  • Ensuring that excellent customer service is provided to customers at all times
  • Handling general car maintenance
  • Preparing cars for motorsport events
  • Supporting on full car builds
What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will possess significant experience working within a comparable role, handling vehicle repair, maintenance and build work. Specific experience must include working within a car garage or comparable environment, handling a range of work including general servicing, clutch changes, suspension changes and engine timing. Applicants must have a UK driving license and it would be beneficial to also have an HGV license, although not essential. Experience in welding, fabrication and machining would also be advantageous.
