Fabricator Welder

£18 per hour with overtime paid at 1 x 1.5

Job Summary

The client is looking for a welder fabricator to work in a busy engineering work shop based in Poole, Dorset.

All candidates must be time served, be able to read and work from engineering drawings and be familiar with weld symbols.

Also working to tight tolerances is essential.

Fully skilled in TIG & MIG welding, with aluminium experience absolutely essential.

Applicants will also be required to work with a wide range of material and thicknesses.

Supplying to the Aerospace, Defence & Nuclear Industries predominantly.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position

Mon - Thurs 7:30am - 4:30pm, Fri 7:30am - 12:30pm.

All overtime is paid at time +1/2.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Time served, fully skilled fabricator welder, able to work direct from engineering drawings, and on own initiative. Coded welder would be a massive advantage, with the experience of working from very thin sheet metal to very thick plate, in various different materials.

Salary: Good rates of pay depending on experience.
