MIG WELDER FABRICATOR

£30,000 - £32,000 + OVERTIME + BENEFITS

Due to expansion and the securing of new contracts, my client are looking to add to their skilled team with the addition of an experienced MIG Welder.

We are looking for someone with a few years' experience working within a welding environment, who now wishes to progress their career within a company which actively promotes internal promotions.. the company have a global customer base and design, manufacture and distribution a range of products for a range of sectors.

THE ROLE:

  • Position and weld up any steel pipe or plate, as indicated on the fabrication drawings provided - for a wide range of projects.
  • Visual inspections of welded components against quality requirements and specifications.
  • Adhering to Quality requirements and customer specifications.
  • Read and work to technical fabrication drawings and specifications.
  • Working to Company QHSE standards.

THE PERSON:

  • Min 3 years mig welding experience - needs to be heavy duty
  • Competent using a weld turntable and do multi run welding
  • physically able to cope with typical factory duties including manual handling loads around 15 - 25kgs.
  • Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, and weld and fabricate heavy gauge material without supervision.
