Wood Polisher, Poole, Up to £15ph
Purpose
As a wood polisher you will work within the production team who are responsible for manufacturing luxury furniture for yachts and home interiors.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a wood polisher will be:
- Preparing the wood by sanding and filling in holes and chips
- Removing old paint spots, varnish or lacquer using paint stripper or sandpaper
- Mixing the stain and applying it to the wood, using a brush or by spraying it on
- Finishing the wood with varnishes, waxes, and lacquers
- Keeping up to date with new techniques and equipment
Background
The successful wood polisher will have:
- Previous experience working with orbital tools such as polishers and sanders
- Marine experience desirable
- A “can do” attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- A reliable, conscientious, and hardworking attitude
