Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market leading client are looking to add a Financial Controller to the current team. Reporting to the Head of Finance & IT the Controller will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting, and leading the team. The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction, and advice to the leadership team.Key duties of the role include:
  • Ensure all finance systems are in place to ensure correct capture and reporting of all transactions at both group and company level.
  • Lead, develop and support the existing finance team.
  • Lead on all aspects of technical financial reporting, disclosure and ensure the company is compliant.
  • Production and preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts for the group in line with department deadlines.
  • Annual statutory account preparation and working with external audit.
  • Production of annual budget departments and working with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Cash flow forecasting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
Experience required:
  • ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified with relevant post qualifying experience.
  • Able to work to challenging deadlines.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of finance data.
