Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out fit out joinery work on marine vessels
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and safety regulations
- Repairing and maintaining wooden structures
- Collaborating with other trades to ensure seamless project delivery
- Utilising a variety of tools to cut, shape, and install wood materials
- Performing precise measurements and cutting to fit installations
- Adhering to project timelines and deadlines
Job Requirements:
- Experience in fit out joinery, particularly within the marine or commercial sectors
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Understanding of health and safety standards related to joinery and marine environments
Rates and hours
- PAYE Only
- Standard 37 hours - £17.07/h plus £2.06/h holiday pay
- Overtime after 37 hours - £23.90/h plus £2.88/h holiday pay
- Holiday pay can be accrued or advanced
- On going/long term contract
