Job title: Mechanical Supervisor (Nightshift)

Maritime Organisation based in Port Glasgow is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor on a permanent Basis to lead and supervise a multiskilled team to ensure that all activities are completed on time and of the quality of output consistent
What you'll be doing:
- Installing main machinery on new build vessels
- Reading and understanding technical drawings
- Set up and aligning shafts thrusters, rudders gear boxes, pumps and commissioning mechanical equipment
- Set work to the team to maximise utilisation of labour and meet delivery schedules
- Providing technical advice to the team and identify process improvements
- Updating all relevant documents including daily progress registers, log books, accident book, training, performance and attendance.
Qualifications
- Educated to HNC level in a related subject
- Supervisory experience in an industrial environment
- IT skills- MS Office
