THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT Â
- Educated to HNC level in a related subject.
- Supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
- IT skills- MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION Â
Leveraging your Mechanical Engineering experience, to lead and supervise a multiskilled team to ensure that all activities are completed on time and of the quality of output consistent with operational standard and requirement. Â
- Installing main machinery on new build vessels.
- Reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Set up and aligning shafts thrusters, rudders gear boxes, pumps and commissioning mechanical equipment.
- Set work to the team to maximise utilisation of labour and meet delivery schedules.
- Providing technical advice to the team and identify process improvements.
- Updating all relevant documents including daily progress registers, logbooks, accident book, training, performance and attendance.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFERÂ Â
Salary up to £44,000 + 30% nightshift uplift (£57,000 per annum) + benefits, including competitive pension scheme.
