Description
As the Head of Supply Chain some of your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business goals and ensure supply continuity
- Drive performance through strategic planning, inventory control, and supplier performance management
- Manage sourcing activities and supplier relationships to ensure value, quality, and on-time delivery
- Oversee sales and operations planning (S&OP) to align supply and demand
- Manage inventory levels to balance working capital and service levels
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and reduce operational costs
- Collaborate across Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams
Profile
The Head of Supply Chain will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Professional Certifications preferred (MCIPS, APICS).
- You will be able to demonstrate professional experience in procurement or supply chain management gained in a manufacturing environment.
- Sound understanding of procurement best practices
- Strong grasp of MRP/ERP systems and inventory control principles
- Experience with logistics, warehousing, and distribution planning
- Proficient in Excel and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to interpret supply chain KPI's
