Electrical Shift Engineer

ELECTRICAL SHIFT ENGINEER
PORT TALBOT
PERMANENT – PANAMA SHIFT
£44-49K INCLUSIVE OF SHIFT ALLOWANCE PLUS BENEFTIS

Due to strong orders, RSW are looking to recruit an additional electrical shift engineer to join our client’s already established engineering team. 

Key Responsibilities:
· Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
· Respond to breakdowns quickly and efficiently
· Diagnose faults and repair equipment
· Upkeep of reports and records
· Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

Qualifications
· HNC/HND Electrical Engineering or equivalent. (desirable)
· Time served electrical apprenticeship. (essential)
· Counterbalance forklift licence. (advantageous – not essential)

Experience
· Experience in FMCG
· PLC experience (Siemens preferable)
· Previous experience reacting to electrical breakdowns

· Manage workload
· Good communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
· Attention to detail
· Good timekeeping
· Be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
· Excellent analytical skills
· Computer literacy

The vacancy is permanent and full time working a PANAMA shift pattern (average 43 hour week)
Total annual salary £41-49K depending on experience inclusive of shift premium.
