- Service, repair, and maintain plant equipment to the manufacturer's specifications, ensuring reliability and safety.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other technical faults.
- Use advanced diagnostic software (training provided).
- Identify and report machine defects, upselling services.
- Accurately complete detailed reports, risk assessments, and timesheets using our in-house tablet system.
- Collaborate closely with the service department and management team.
- Operate machinery on-site for testing purposes (training provided).
- Accurately ordering parts with the parts department
- Any other duties as deemed necessary to fulfil the role
- Relevant experience and qualifications e.g. City and Guild, NVQ Level 3 qualifications or equivalent to
- Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Strong IT skills and experience with electronic diagnostic equipment.
- A relationship builder who can deliver excellent customer service.
- Effective communication and time-management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
